A video of a large great white shark emerging from the depths and bumping a diver has gone viral although little is known about the video’s origins.
The video, originally posted by Dennis Dempsey on the SA Spearfishing’s Facebook page but since removed, appears to show a salvage diver coming head-to-head with an approximately 12-foot great white shark off the coast of South Africa. The diver appeared startled but was not injured despite being inches away from the giant predator’s mouth.
