A new shark-themed horror movie, which is slated to premiere on the SyFy Network later this summer, will begin primary production in Ocean Springs, Mississippi in mid-February.
The project, Mississippi River Shark, is being spearheaded by Jason and Jeremy London. The twins, best known for their respective roles in Kevin Smith’s Mallrats and Dazed and Confused, are residents of Ocean Springs and will also star in the film.
The town of Ocean Springs also served as the backdrop for another shark-themed horror film,2015’s Shark Lake which starred Dolph Lundgren.
